Why Isn’t Anyone Talking About This Potential Favre Scandal?

While it has not been completely verified, it looks like Brett Favre made cat calls to a female member of the New York media while a member of the Jets in 2008. There are voicemail recordings of (what definitely sounds like) him asking her to come to his hotel room, and references by (what definitely sounds like him) to people that both he and she would know, making a set-up or falsification seem unlikely. Oh, and there are some pictures that were allegedly sent.

Bret Favre Scandal Info

But seriously, with how quickly ESPN seems to jump on indiscretions by anyone else, why is no one even talking about this?

Best comment on that page: “Yeah, that’s Favre. I can tell by the way he’s fumbling his balls.”

    LOL

You hit it right on the head. ESPN has no problem tearing anyone else’s life to shreds. This should have been a story when it came out the first tiome around in August and here it is again and ESPN has nothing to say??? Amazing

I still have a really hard time believing that Favre is this stupid, and maybe that he is this kind of guy in general. But still, I am shocked it is not being talked about more by the mainstream media one way or another.

He was asked about it at the Vikings press conference yesterday and was able to get away with saying something like “I’ve got enough on my plate thinking about the Jets defense this week.” Seriously? That’s all you’re going to say?

Because Favre wears wranglers. You don’t mess with guys that wear wranglers.

The stories can’t be true. Brett trying to score with a sideline reporter while a member of the Jets? Everyone knows the Jets can’t score on anyone.
